To start playing in the next game:

Download and/or read either the:

Text Version:  (left-click on the symbol to the left to open)

or Windows 95/98/XP help file:

Download and install a copy of WINDOS:

To install WINDOS, simply unzip the zip file into a directory on your hard drive, activate WINDOS.EXE and access the HELP menu option for more information. A sample turn is included in the zip file to help you understand how to navigate within WINDOS.

Results files are sent as ZIP files (which should be sent as a normal attachment). The ZIP file will included two files, W....DOS and S....DOS files (where ... equals the game number, player number and turn number). The W....DOS file holds all the data for WINDOS to understand your empire's position, while the S....DOS file is text version of your results and can be viewed by any text editor. The file to return each turn is the order file O....DOS. Please send this back as an attachment not zipped and without changing it's name.

Read some of the game reviews to get a understanding of the tactics needed in the game.

Once you have a understanding of the game, complete and submit the DOS Set-up Form:

You must include your full name and address, so we can ensure no one takes more then one position in any one game. Don't forget to also include your correct e-mail address.

When I receive your completed set-up form, I will contact you by e-mail to advise you when the next will be starting and how often a turn will be due.

Have FUN!!

Welcome

With the recent death of the Roma Games website that I had for over 15 years, I was looking for free alternatives and one of the options was this site.

So this is really just an experiment to see if I can translate my old site into a blog.

Don’t be surprise if it doesn’t work  Smile
